Who actually sends the thank-you gift?

The dealership. Directly to you. We don't process the gift — the dealership mails the check, gift card, or store credit when the deal closes. We just track it and let you know it's on the way.

Is this really free?

Yes. No signup fee. No subscription. No card needed. The dealership pays the thank-you gift out of their marketing budget when a referred deal closes. We're paid by the dealerships, not by you.

Do I need a license to do this?

No. You're not selling cars. You're not a broker. You're a connector — same as if a friend recommended a doctor or a contractor. The thank-you gift is exactly that: a thank you, not a commission.

When does the gift arrive?

Usually within 7–14 days of the deal closing, depending on the dealership's process. You'll see the gift confirmation in your dashboard the moment they mark it sent — with who sent it, the date, and how.

What counts as a referral?

Anyone who buys a car through your tracking link or the rep you sent them to. Attribution lasts 90 days, so even if your friend takes their time deciding, you still get credit if they buy.

What if my person doesn't buy?

No deal, no gift — but no cost to you either. You don't owe anyone anything. The system only pays when a real sale happens.

Can I work with more than one dealership?

Yes. MyCarReferral doesn't cap your opportunities, but you must be invited by a dealership to participate in its program.
